Mission

SnoValley Aquatic Center Interest Group exists for the initial and long-range development of an aquatics facility to meet the needs of the region.

Vision

The creation of a vibrant community aquatics center where family members of all ages and abilities can enjoy the benefits of year-round recreation, exercise, therapy and competitive sports.

Values

SnoValley Aquatic Center values:
-A wide range safe and healthy lifetime aquatics activities for family members of all ages and abilities.
-Public access to safe, quality, year-round indoor aquatics environments for recreation, exercise, rehabilitation and competitive sports.

Goals and Objectives

1.To bring together community partners with the drive, expertise and financial support to:
--Plan, build and operate a multi-purpose, all-season aquatics complex in the Lower Snoqualmie Valley, including a 25-meter competition pool, instructional, therapeutic and leisure water facilities for all ages by 2011.
--Meet a wide range of health, recreational and athletic interests without sacrificing the goal of creating a state-of-the-art standard model of an economical and environmentally sound swimming pool.
--Create an instructional and training venue for both public and private local and regional aquatics groups and teams, with a priority on supporting water safety instruction programs.
--Develop a plan which supports the economic viability for long-range operation of the complex.
--Set Up an endowment to supplement, as needed, the maintenance, marketing, operation and public usage of the complex.

2.To promote public programs that:
--Improve water safety for our population
--Foster health and rehabilitation
--Offer a variety of enjoyable aquatic experiences for all community members
--Support a wide range competitive aquatic sports at all levels
--Promote further development of pool projects that meet the specific needs of our community.
